Very good base recipe.. Was a little more vinegary ?? than I had expected but dang good. I used about an extra cup of brown sugar, 1/8 cup of minced onion and it turned out fantastic. Like you said, great base to start with.. Thanks for the video.

Try White pepper and/or liquid hickory smoke more chili powder and cumin mabe some brown sugar

I need a sauce that's spicy and savory, but not sweet or sour. Kind of thick too, but not like that nasty barbecue paste you buy at a store.What do you recommend I put in it?

i use almost the same recipe except i've never used apple cider vinegar, i use good old whiskey!! and i don't use cumin. i'm gonna have to try this one out!!
